This policy explains how Mountain Crest Agency - FZCO ("R&D Teams", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit rndteams.com, email us, or book a call with us. R&D Teams is a brand of Mountain Crest Agency - FZCO, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include, such as your company, role, phone number or project details.
- Booking information. When you book a call through our scheduling page, our scheduling provider, Cal.com, collects your name, email address, the time you choose and any notes you add, and shares them with us.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you request, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. The Cal.com booking widget on our booking page may set its own cookies, which are covered by Cal.com's privacy policy. We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal information, such as health or financial data, through this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and schedule and hold calls with you.
- To prepare proposals and, if we work together, to deliver and invoice the services set out in our written agreement.
- To run, secure and improve this website.
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Where data-protection law asks us to name a legal basis, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, compliance with legal obligations and, where required, your consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as Cloudflare (website hosting), Cal.com (scheduling), our email provider. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- Content delivery networks that serve this site's fonts, icons and scripts (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, cdnjs and unpkg). Your browser requests these files directly, so these providers receive your IP address and browser information.
- Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is reorganised or sold, under the same protections as this policy.
Partner products we promote
We sometimes promote products made by other companies. For example, we are currently working with Shotgun Keyboard to promote its Mac app. We do not sell those products or process their payments. International transfers
We are based in the UAE, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. When information leaves the country where it was collected, we rely on our providers' contractual and security safeguards to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. If we become clients, we keep project and billing records for as long as our agreement and applicable accounting and tax laws require. After that, we delete or anonymise the information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you, or receive a copy of it;
- correct or delete it;
- object to or restrict how we use it;
- withdraw any consent you have given.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. You may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this site and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses. They are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
